Examine this picture carefully. It's from the website of the Association of U.S. Catholic Priests (AUSCP) who just ended their annual confab in San Antonio on the very fashionable River Walk. See any roman collars? See many young men? The theme was "Sex and Spirituality Pastoral Considerations." I had to laugh when I saw that, but not surprised. Dissident and heretical clergy always seem to have one thing on their minds: sex, sex, and more sex.
These bald and white haired old men probably have a large percentage of post prostate surgery patients. Most men seem to contract prostate cancer at some point as they age, and many end up impotent. So why are they so darn fixated on sex?
The answer is pretty simple I think. Lust is one of the devil's most effective tools. How many of these priests are homosexual? How many use pornography? I don't know whether "married" priests are allowed to join AUSCP, but certainly they have supporters from that group. Are some of those women in the photo married to members of CORPUS, the organization for married ex-priests?
Many of the speakers at the conference have backgrounds promoting eroticism and debunking the idea that sodomy and fornication are sinful. Among their positions are ending celibacy for priests and ordaining women. Do you recall that at the Dallas bishops' meeting in 2002, Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz made a motion to study the relationship between dissent and homosexuality? He couldn't even get a second from that pathetic bench of bishops. The question lingers. Whenever I see a group like AUSCP, my head immediately goes to sexual immorality: sodomy, adultery, fornication - they are the triumvirate of heresy!
Check out information about AUSCP on the Lepanto Institute website including a 12 page report. This organization is poison and it is a huge scandal that there are bishops and even cardinals who support them. Cdl. Blase Cupich of Chicago gave the keynote address last year. Their "Episcopal Consultor" (whatever that is) is AB John Wester of Santa Fe. Bishop John Stowe of Covington, KY who slandered Nick Sandmann and the Covington High School kids is an active member of the group. According to Lepanto "Abp. Wilton Gregory, Bp. Gregory Hartmeyer and Bp. Robert McElroy have all participated in AUSCP events." Checking who supports AUSCP is a good litmus test for identifying bad clerics. And there are plenty of them, sad to say!
Keep in mind that God usually gives you what you deserve. Have we failed to practice the faith with zeal? Have we failed to pray and fast for the pope and the magisterium? Do we encourage the good priests among us or take them for granted? Let's all study this quote and examine our consciences:
The most evident mark of God’s anger and the most terrible castigation He can inflict upon the world are manifested when He permits His people to fall into the hands of clerics who are priests more in name than in deed, priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than the charity and affection of devoted shepherds. St. John Eudes
Dissident and heretical clergy are a scourge on the Church and "ravening wolves." Is your pastor a wolf or a shepherd? If you have a shepherd, thank God and encourage him every chance you get. If your pastor is a wolf -- pray for him even harder, but look for a new home before he gobbles up your faith and the faith of your children.
O Lord, give us priests.
O Lord, give us holy priests.
O Lord, give us many holy priests.
O Lady, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us.
The fact is that the sexual revolution has had a free reign under the not watchful eye of Peter, and bishops…..tolerant and merciful toward unchastity of all kinds for decades…..fearing no God.
ReplyDeleteAt the Garden of Olives St. Peter cut off the ear of Malchus; Our Lord cured his ear, and the soldier converted. St. Peter’s blow was, therefore, instrumental in bringing that man to the true Faith.
We may ask St. Peter (Pope Leo XIV) to use his sword again to cut off the ears of those who want to imprison Holy Mother Church – progressivists, modernists, the sodomites, and every stripe of heretics within the walls of the holy Church, so that they may repent, convert, lest many will perish.
May Pope Leo XIV also use his ear-curing sword not to cut but to open the ears of the good grassroots, so that they can discern the voice of the real counter-revolutionary Catholics.
St. Peter = Pope Leo XIV ? Ha!
DeleteHa! Please note, that I didn't write 'St'. Leo XIV......
DeleteSt. Peter prince of the apostles. and head of His Church, we beseech intercede for Pope Leo XIV, may he follow in the footsteps of 'Peter the Rock.' So, help him God!
St. Peter wasn't always a saint. In the Scripture readings today we see the reminder of his triple betrayal of Christ in the triple question, "Do you love me?" And there were other times as well. Let us pray for Pope Leo with zeal. Maybe it's our lukewarmness that gives us bad popes.

Delete"A faithful saying: If a man aspires to the office of bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, prudent, of good behaviour, chaste, hospitable, a teacher, not given to wine, not a striker, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not greedy, but managing his own household well, having children in subjection with all chastity. But if a man does not know how to rule his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?"
Who could have believed that following what the Apostle Paul taught in the Scriptures would do better than following the doctrine invented by some Africans who were supporting the Carthage movement?
Who could have predicted that the mob of Africans who were supporting the Carthage movement and inventing a new doctrine would convert into priests those who displayed erotic feelings towards other men?
I never heard of the Carthage movement. Can you please explain. In English! I'm not posting any more Latin comments.
